Man flogs cousin to death for eating bowl of rice

A 37 year-old-man by the name Kayode
Olubunmi was arrested by the Ogun state police for flogging his cousin to death on christmas day.

He allegedly flogged his 20-year-old cousin Haruna Adeoye to death for eating up a bowl of rice that was earlier brought for him by his friend.

Adeoye who is said to be an orphan allegedly ate the said bowl of rice despite his uncles instruction to reserve it for dinner.

According to reports, Olubunmi came back home drunk to find out his bowl of rice was gone. this resulted to flogging that claimed Adeoye's life.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the police P.R.O, Muyiwa Adejobi stated that the incident ocured by 10:30 pm on christmas day at Ajegunle, Ita-oluwo Ogijo in Sagamu local government area of the state.
